The most honorable chiropractor sometimes makes errors in business judgment because they didn’t know what they didn’t know. And they can find themselves in a pot of pretty hot water because of it. Did you know that haphazard documentation techniques, for example, can result in an “unprofessional conduct” sanction by a board or payer?

Being a doctor and operating a chiropractic business or being a chiropractic team member in that business holds you to a higher set of standards than many other businesses. Our world is different because healthcare is regulated so differently from other business types, the lines in the sand are drawn with a more stringent stick.
