Are you caught in the crosshairs of patients wanting to use their coverage for a massage? Playing with the code to match the benefit is not the answer. You should always code appropriately for the service being performed in the office. Changing a code to fit a patient's benefit is a huge red flag. Take the keys back to your office, and let your patient sort it out with "their" insurance plan.
