Use Recent Audit Findings to Improve Documentation - Saturday, October 10 1-2:40 PM
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) hired Strategic Health Solutions (SHS) to audit the documentation for swaths of chiropractors throughout the country. The first round of audit findings has been published and the results varied greatly from 100% compliant to 100% non-compliant. However, six core documentation principles were consistently found to be lacking as a common denominator throughout the audit findings. This timely session will explore each of the six core issues found, identify the weakness that caused the failure, and outline highlights that providers can ensure their documentation meets the standards.

In this “Back to Basics” session, we’ll equip you with the knowledge and certainty you’ll need to meet the needs of any entity who looks at your notes.
